On 02/07/2013 in the stateroom in the municipal building an exhibition of posters of thermal images of analyzed building was held and there was also a public debate on Energy Efficiency in Building Design. On that occasion the Energy certificates are handed to the owners of the building for witch the project were done during the campaign. These are five buildings in Kragujevac of witch three are residential building in the following streets: Vladike Nikolaja Velimirovića No 3, Kopaonička No 46 and Božane Prpić No 8, and two are private houses in the following streets: Dr.Ilije Kolovića, and Vojvode Stepe No 28/A.
The public debate was opened by Anita Mraović, who is project manager in the GIZ project for energy Efficiency in Building Design, except her also Dušan Ignjatović was speking, he is assistant
professor on Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade and he is also a member of the team of Ministry of Construction and Urban Planning for the development of regulations on energy efficiency, also Jelena Bojović, was speaking, she is a coordinator of the technical team for implementation of projects. Dobrica Milovanović, who is a member of City Councl for International Cooperation, on behalf of the city of Kragujevac, welcomed representatives of the German organisation for international Cooperation GIZ, representatives of the Ministry, representatives of Serbian Chamber of Engineers, engineers who are licensed for energy efficiency, owners or representatives of counsel of building who got the energy certificates, representatives of Regional Centre for Energy Efficiency in Kragujevac and directors of public and public utility companies and schools.
City of Kragujevac in collaboration with Ministry of Construction and Urban Planning participates in the campaign "Discovering Energy" that is supported by German organization GIZ. The goal of the campaign is to inform and raise awareness of citizen about energy efficiency, about the possibilities of of saving and that they can have comfortable and pleasant homes without much investment – said Prof.Dr.Milovanović.
The campaign „Discovering Energy" within the project Energy Efficiency in Building begin on April 2012 and it is direct implementation of regulations on Energy Efficiency. The campaign is regulations on 30 cities in Serbia that are divided into three regions. In each city was made selection based on the national typology of residential buildings, and there was selected five representative buildings on which technical analysis was carried out, data about them were collected and Energy Efficiency engineers have done studies and certificates for these buildings, in each city. Today, we deliver these certificates to the owners of buildings in Kragujevac – said Anita Mraović, the manager of the project.
On buildings for which studies have been done, thermal imaging was conducted in the beginning of 2013, it shows the same thing as energy certificate as energy certificate as a document, but in a more attractive way. After handing all the certificates and opening of exhibition, there will be held public debates and conversations with citizen who in those buildings, with representatives of Local Governments, with donors who are willing to invest in the improvement of new buildings and representatives of the companies engaged in the production of insulating materials, added Mraović.
